Here is a really ignorant comment left by a reader on sfgate.com. The foolish comments on this site never cease to amaze me.
The reason there are so many liquor stores in the neighbourhood is because the people who live there patronise them. And the fact is that many poor people prefer junk food. That is why so many are obese. They say America is the only country in the world where the rich are skinny and the poor are fat. I agree with the poster who questioned why it takes eight employees to do the work that one shopkeeper and his wife would normally do. Fire some of this baggage and you can drop the price of your merchandise. -sfgate.com reader
